Our doula was extremely knowledgeable, professional and gave clear guidelines of her role. She was extremely helpful to me during labor, normalizing, giving me reminders of my preferences, coaching me on breathing and relaxation. She was helpful prior to the birth with my questions also. She helped my husband better assist me as well. I have referred her to my friends. Having her at my birth gave me the best experience possible. She was able to be objective and knowledgeable in ways my huisband was not and able to support me when my husband was needed at our baby's side post labor. I am so grateful she was my doula!
